The Hospitality Awards for excellence and back in full swing as we head into orange!
The prestigious hospitality awards have been around for 24 years. They provide recognition to some of the best hospitality business’s in New Zealand. These awards are one which will help all business’s around New Zealand get started back up again due to being in covid for the last three years and create a sense of community that the hospitality industry have been struggling with. They are currently supported by the long time sponsors Lion New Zealand.
Julie White the Hospitality New Zealand Chief Executive really summed up this award ceremony in her speech at the hospitality NZ press conference.
“These awards are the pinnacle of our industry, and give everyone in it a chance to recognise and reward members who strove throughout the past year to create the highest possible standards and experiences for both their guests and their team…”
“…I said this last year and I’ll say it again: after this latest year, and what’s happening right now, every hospitality business and every worker out there deserves a medal for the guts and perseverance they’ve shown through probably the toughest period the industry has ever been through.”
